Edge and the Four Horsemen Announced for Hall Of Fame
It was announced during last night’s episode of WWE Raw that Edge and the Four Horsemen will be inducted into the 2012 Hall of Fame class, in Miami.
Other than HBK, Edge’s induction will mark the closest a performer has been to active competition while being inducted, having only left the company in 2011. Naturally Christian will induct him.
The Four Horsemen will be inducted as a group, specifically Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham and manager JJ Dillon. It’s not clear if Ric Flair will be there, considering he is with TNA, but if Flair wants to be he will be.

Chris Jericho’s Cryptic Videos & WWE Future
Chris Jericho actually flew to headquarters in Connecticut a while back and met with Vince McMahon to map out his return according to the Wrestling Observer. These meetings were taking place at the same time Jericho was laiming that he would never work with WWE again.
The cryptic videos leading to Jericho’s return were WWE’s Social Networking Department’s idea. Several in the company felt that the campaign as too smart for its own good before they started airing.
During Jericho’s unique return at Monday’s RAW Supershow, people backstage were noting the similarities to the Dynamic Dudes character that John Laurinaitis played years ago.

(1) Intercontinental champion Cody Rhodes beat Booker T to retain the IC Title. Ten-minute-plus match. They went back and forth at the end. Booker went for the Book-End, but Cody elbowed out. Then, Booker kicked him and hit the axe kick, but Cody kicked out. Book went for the axe kick again, but Cody ducked and hit a beautiful Disaster Kick for the win.
Afterward, Booker played to the crowd for a non-TV encore.
For TV, Cody and Dustin Rhodes chatted backstage. Then, there was a hilarious Santino, Ryder, Teddy Long, and Drew McIntyre segment. This set up Santino vs. McIntyre.
(2) Hornswoggle beat Heath Slater in an over-the-top-rope battle royal. Slater beat on him, then sat on the top rope. Hornswoggle slapped him, then Heath was about to slam Hornswoggle over the top rope, but Horny grabbed his hair for the win. Slater beat down Horny after the “match,” but Justin Gabriel made the save.
(3) Hunico (w/Camacho) beat Ted DiBiase via submission. An okay match. The crowd was not into the match until Hunico went for a flying head scissors and DiBiase hit a reverse faceplant. Hunico went to work on Ted’s left arm and the end came when Hunico used a submission pin-type move. He trapped Ted’s arms with his legs like the Rings of Saturn, then rolled him over for the pin and crossed his feet. Nice finisher.
Wade Barrett cut a promo saying Randy Orton is done and he will win the Royal Rumble while Orton sits at home and watches him win. Barrett said Orton may return, but he’ll never be the same. Enter Sheamus. They went face-to-face, then Jinder Mahal ran out to help beat down Sheamus. Sheamus fought back, but Barrett hit the Black Hole Slam to stand tall over Barrett. This allowed Jinder to apply the Camel Clutch.
(4) Santino beat Drew McIntyre.Santino won with the Cobra. Nothing special, just comedy. Afterward, Smackdown GM Teddy Long told McIntyre that’s strike two and next two could be strike three.
(5) Epico & Primo (w/Rosa Mendes) beat WWE tag champions Air Boom (Kofi Kingston & Evan Bourne) in a non-title match. Good tag match with the usual high-flying and Air Boom offense. The Colons worked well together. I mean, they are cousins. Epico made the pin after Bourne missed with Air Bourne.
Announced for next week: Sheamus vs. Jinder Mahal.
(6) Tamina beat Natalya. The Warrior Princess dominated in a one-sided match. Tamina won with a Superfly Splash.
Next was the main event World Title match. In a pre-match promo, Daniel Bryan got too big for his britches. He came out to boos after a pop for Show. Bryan turning heel before our very eyes! Mark Henry was the guest announcer.
(7) World Hvt. champion Daniel Bryan beat Big Show via DQ; Bryan retained the World Title. Show went for the chokeslam, but Bryan positioned him for a front choke submission, which he turned into the LeBell Lock. Show escaped, then Bryan ran from the WMD. He got smart and got Henry to push him for a DQ. End of the show.
Afterward, for the live crowd, Show and Henry had a hilarious conversation for the crowd after Bryan left.

Brock Lesnar WWE Return Rumors, Surprises In The 30-Man Rumble Match
If Brock Lesnar would return to WWE before his medical suspension is lifted, would he still be bound by it?
Medical suspensions are issued to protect the fighter; however, I’m unsure if it would prevent Brock Lesnar from competing in WWE ring. In order for Lesnar to return to WWE, he has to want to return and then be legally cleared of his UFC contract. Many in WWE are doubtful that Lesnar is coming back as Jim Ross made a very bold statement by saying he would be shocked to see Lesnar remotely near a WWE event in 2012. While WWE return rumors started the moment Lesnar announced his UFC retirement, we haven’t heard anything from Lesnar as of this writing.
Are there any surprises planned for this year’s 30-man Royal Rumble match?
I haven’t heard of any planned surprises for the 30-man Royal Rumble match but the company usually includes one or two every year. Christian will probably be a popular name to return although from what I understand, his ankle is still in rough shape. I do anticipate at least one name that isn’t a WWE regular to appear in the match.
